It's hard to know where to begin when
relating all the good things about Aunt Darlene's. After an initial "get
acquainted" visit and a practice overnight stay, we had no qualms about
leaving our dog here for an extended time. Darlene and husband Tom are
obviously committed to operating a top-notch dog care business, and they
exhibit a great deal of knowledge about dog behavior and interaction.
Boarding a beloved pet for several days can be worrisome, but at Aunt
Darlene's one feels as if the pet has been entrusted to long-time
friends. The cage-free facilities are very clean with no doggy odor, and
the dog comes home smelling clean. Among the available amenities,
we especially appreciated the large screened-in porch, the fenced-in
yard, and the self-service toy basket. Both Darlene and Tom know
how to be pack leaders so that order is maintained among their charges
at all times. Darlene and Tom obviously love their work and do
everything possible to make their guests comfortable. Travelling
for us will now be more care-free knowing our dog is in such good hands.

My dog spent the week with Aunt Darlene, Tom and their two sweet little dogs at their home. They were extremely organized, reliable, caring and clean. They have a screened-in sun room, grassy backyard and plenty room to play. They had all the comforts of home - big couch, cozy chair and dog beds. My dog came home clean and happy and I would recommend them to my friends.

Dear Darlene, This is just to thank you and your husband for watching Mickey on 5/24. Who is this dog and what have you done with Mickey?? LOL!! The fact that I am willing to drive 27 miles from my home all the way to Old Bridge to drop my dog off at Darlene’s house is a strong indication that I want the best for my dog. I pass at least 5 local pet boarding facilities on my way to Darlene’s house and never once have I doubted that I was getting far more superior care for my dog than I would at any of the facilities that I pass. I don't just drop my dog off there once a year when we are on vacation he stays at Darlene's regularly each week.
I chose Darlene after interviewing at least a dozen people in the same business. Not only is she truly a professional, keeping her facility clean, fun, and safe for all the dogs she cares for, but she also devotes time to playing with the dogs and gives them lots of personal attention. Darlene's happy and loving disposition is irresistible and I am sure my dog enjoys her attention and play time when he stays over.
In addition, Darlene also has two happy, playful dogs that provide terrific companionship for my dog, so it’s like our little baby goes to his k-9 play date each time. I feel very fortunate that I found someone like Darlene to entrust my dog to.”

This is just a short note to tell you how pleased we were with the wonderful care you gave our two doggies while we were on vacation. Heidi and Chloé looked so good when we picked them up. It was just like I left them for an afternoon instead of two weeks. They smelled great, were happy and clean and hadn't lost weight. I was so worried about Chloé, as she always stayed with a friend when we went away, but she was absolutely perfect.

Dear Darlene and Tom, Hi Guys. We enjoyed meeting you both. We felt very comfortable and confident leaving our baby Blizzard with you guys. You are both so warm and friendly and it was very obvious that you love dogs and care for them as if they are your own. It was a wonderful feeling leaving Blizzard to play with your 2 adorable and friendly dogs. He had so much fun with them and we know that because he was looking for them when we picked him up to go home. Being in a home and being able to roam and play was ideal since we did not want him in a cage cooped up and around all the barking and stress of other dogs We would never hesitate to bring Bliz back to you if we needed to do that at some point in time.
