Please let me introduce myself.  My name is Darlene Sawyer.  I am the founder of Aunt Darlene's Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Service, LLC.   We service Middlesex and some of Monmouth County.  If you are going on a weekend trip or a week-long getaway, let us provide this wonderful service to you.  We will come and take excellent care of your pets including, proper feeding per your instructions, walking, playing and providing company.  Not only do I care for your pet, but I also act as home security and theft deterrent.  I will even take in your mail, water your indoor plants as needed and alternate lighting to make it look like someone is home.

If you are anything like me, your pets aren’t just your pets, they are your babies, your friends, and they mean the world to you. I love my pets like they are my children and would not trust just anyone to watch them or walk them when I am not around. That’s why I established Aunt Darlene’s Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Service. I love my pets and want only the best for them. I would never leave them in a kennel where they may be lonely in an unfamiliar place or get sick as many do.

When I go on vacation, my pets stay home where they are in a familiar, happy place, and I am fortunate enough to have parents who live nearby and can come over to take care of them while I’m away. My Dad loves my pets so much, he even stops by to see them when I’m not away. He walks my dog two or three times a week and plays with my cat when he comes over. I got my extreme love for animals from my Dad and now your pet can share in that love that my Dad passed down to me. I love all animals and would adopt every stray if I could.

We don’t just walk them, we hug them, play with them and if they let us, we even kiss them. Pets bring us so much joy that we just want to smother them with affection, hugs and kisses and are fortunate enough to have that in our lives every single day.  I can't even imagine doing anything other than working with pets ever again.  I LOVE my job!!!

This is not just my business, it’s my passion and my life. I truly love each and every pet and so do all of our pet sitters.  My standards for my pet sitters is the same as it is for myself.  They must adore animals, be kind, caring, honest, affectionate, loving, reliable and 100% dependable.  I would never hire a pet sitter that I wouldn't trust to watch my pets and be in my house when I'm away.
